Channels: Cancer - I'm a Survivor
A cancer survivor is anyone living with a history of cancer. Approximately 11 million Americans are now living with and beyond a diagnosis of cancer. It's estimated that almost half of all U.S. men and one third of all U.S.women will be diagnosed with the disease at some point in their lives. Survivors show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis is not only possible, but it can be positive, productive and meaningful.

Cancer-free for one year and counting
I had nasal pharangeal cancer and am now cancer-free for one year. I have CT scans every three months to ensure it has not re-appeared. Can anyone give some insight as to when they were finally able to "breathe" and not fear that the cancer will...
