WPFT Meet At The The Cancer Research Institute
Posted February 4, 2010, 2:33 pm in LeadershipWomen Playing For T.I.M.E.(WPFT) kicked off its annual Steering Committee meeting on February 1st with a very special tour of Orlando's Cancer Research Institute (CRI) at Lake Nona. There were over 50 volunteers and members who attended the meeting, all of whom were very excited to hear from various members of the CRI staff about the important work underway to help prevent and treat cancer.


Dr. Clarence Brown, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and members from the CRI staff offered their personal thanks and gratitude to WPFT members and volunteers and in particular, WPFT Founder -Elaine Lustig, for supporting the CRI and its important work to develop new therapies to treat cancer.

Posted 5:03pm February 25th, 2010One of the fantastic highlights of that meeting was listening to each member share both the how and why of their involvement with TIME....so many stories shared with laughter and with tears...beautiful women who make me smile...make me proud to be around them all! SusieA
