Today I was in my first regatta even though I think of myself as a recreational rower.

Rowing a 5K with 8 other novices was also an experience. Didn't have trouble with stamina and followed a trusted stroke person. Had no clue how long 5 K was on the water. We did really well - at the end of the day. The Warriors on Water Pink Dragon boat team manned a booth in the festival area and had lots of folks stop by for info.Who would think there was so much new in my life in 2009? Loving it all.
