Warriors On Water - Moving Into The Water

Hello All,

This past Sunday morning several ladies from the newly formed W.O.W. Warriors On Water Breast Cancer Dragon Boat team met at 7am pool side to practice their paddling techniques.  This was there first practice that involved water.  Their techniques and synchronization is going very well.  The power of the water being pulled by their paddling moved the house to a new address next door. 

Shortly the ladies will be moving to a borrowed boat actually in the water to incorporate all their skills and hard work.  Yep, soon they will be Warriors On Water.  These are a remarkable group of women who have found an avenue to build their strength and confidence after their diagnosis of breast cancer.

I want to let everyone know how incredible that was to watch!!  VERY motivating!  When you see the pics I hope I was able to capture the true beauty of synchronicity.

I'm still glowing, hours later, from our awesomely inspiring
practice this morning! Even though we weren't in our boat yet,

it felt like we were all in it together, paddling our way towards

Disney....  

..... and how about that logo!!!!!

I agree, Susan!  What a great start to our day!  That was kind of surreal, imagining we are in a boat on the water!  And Chris is incredible, working with our ideas and then presenting his vision to us!  What an all-encompassing picture of who we are!  Kat has some neat friends, as well as experience, knowledge and faith!!!  Keep up the great work, Kat!

I like your WOW-some expression, Susan!  Sally really had a great idea with that team name!!!
