A Book Suggestion for Chemo Girls

Many of you were very kind with your suggestions when I was seeking advice for what types of books to send to my cousin who is undergoing chemo right now.
I wanted to thank you for your advice and pass along a success story. I sent her a little gift package with gifts for her and her two children (thanks for that tip Aylin!). But I also saw this interview on the WPFT site about a new book called "Beauty Pearls for Chemo Girls."

And she loved it! She said she had been avoiding all sorts of cancer "help" books because she just didn't want to think about having cancer, even during her every other week trips to chemo. But this one didn't feel so threatening or preachy she said. She said the beauty tips weren't what hooked her -- it was the stories from other women in the book. She admitted that she never would have picked up a book that just seemed to be other women's stories, but once she started reading them, she said they really made a big difference.
So, if you or a loved one are having to go through this same ordeal, this might be a positive gift to pass along.
Keep those suggestions coming. It's time to send her another care package!
