I have a husband, a toddler and two furbabies (that's dogs to those of you who aren't pet owners).  Our house feels a bit like a sitcom at times (particularly on the days when I'm cleaning up baby and animal messes within minutes of each other!), but hopefully our family will be more like the Huxtables instead of the Bundys! 

I'm a proud and vocal Syracuse University graduate (go Orange!).

I just finished "Julie and Julia" and I loved it! It inspired me to get back into the kitchen and experiment and to appreciate the wonderful life that I do have. Unlike Julie, I LOVE my job and feel fulfilled every day!

Some of my other favorite books include "The Time Traveler's Wife," "The Memory Keeper's Daughter," "The Lovely Bones," and the Twilight series. Why is it that all my favorite books become average movies? Maybe I need to get back to the literary classics!

I'm so excited for the fall season to return! My husband and I just started re-watching the entire Lost series, from the very first episode, all in preparation for this year's final season!
