Arnold Palmer burst onto the scene at the same moment that televised golf was finding its way into American living rooms. Palmer didn't play golf, he attacked it. He quickly became a national folk hero and is credited with popularizing golf worldwide. Now 79, Arnold doesn't play much competitive golf, but as we found out, he still has plenty of game.
