For 25 years, the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah, has shown people who either believe or have been told that they CAN'T do something that they CAN. The program helps people with disabilities and other challenges get back in the game through a variety of athletic endeavors.
Growing Bolder TV's Wendy Chioji, a breast cancer survivor, hit the slopes to show how people who've spent decades in wheelchairs are zipping down mountains and embracing their need for speed.
The athletes include cancer survivors and people with disabilities, spinal cord injuries, amputations, autism and more.
See how they're finally regaining a sense of freedom, independence and the excitement of athletic feats.
