One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Although the disease is quite serious, one unique event has found a way to give women something to laugh about.
At the Bra-ha-ha, breast cancer survivors and supporters are given the opportunity to express themselves creatively and even find the humor in breast cancer by creating elaborate decorations for bras. It's a national program, which was hosted locally by Women Playing For T.I.M.E., Neiman Marcus, the Waldorf Astoria and Cosabella.
Lingerie company Cosabella provides the bras and the women bring the ideas. From feathers to guitar picks to a baseball-themed "Saving Second Base" bra, see how women are finding new ways to raise awareness about breast cancer.
